As a result, SAMHSA will certainly be releasing yet another round of amendments to the Part 2 regulations soon. Then, there is the Information Blocking Rule which saw its compliance deadline date be pushed to April 5th of 2021 but has still left many scrambling to get their hands around all of the ways in which this game-changing regulation is turning the world of sharing electronic health information upside down.
